STEP BY STEP HOW TO APPLY FOR YOUR 30 Day Visa VOA
can be done up to 90 days prior to your flight date

• Device with internet and a camera (for scanning your passport) so, a phone etc
• Passport
• Email address (you can use 1 email for up to 5 people)
• Hotel Name and Address
• Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard or JCB
• Access to the phone number that your bank uses to send you an OTP to approve payments

If you open the link direct from a Facebook page, the payment will always show as failed...but the money will be charged to your credit card.

If you are one of the 97 Countries eligible for VOA, you can choose the orange Apply button at the bottom of the white box that describes the Visa on Arrival

Airport is Bandara in Indonesian

If flying into Bali, you land at the Ngurah Rai Airport (DPS)

Click on SCAN PASSPORT

A purple screen will come up and load, it takes a few seconds to load the first time.

It will then be ready to read (allow your camera access)

Hold the rectangular box over the MRZ zone of your passport.

MRZ - Machine Readable Zone (the two rows of numbers (and letters) at the bottom of your passport data page

Check what the system has put, as it is not always correct. Double check, as you cannot edit once you have paid for your visa

It often mistakes the letter O for a Zero

Put in your phone number

KAB means kabupaten (Regency)
Kota means City.

Start typing your hotel regency, for example type Badu and Kab.Badung will show

It does not really matter too much if you choose the wrong one, unless you plan on extending the visa, or have any immigration issues, but here are some examples of popular areas in Bali

Fill in your email address (you can use the same email for 5 people only)

If using a small device, you need to scroll accross until you see the Payment button, click that

You can only pay for one visa at a time, so complete the payment for each before starting the next visa.

Once payment is made your visa will be emailed to you.

TIPS: Do not click back, you will have to start again.

Note: You only have 59 minutes to pay, if you do not pay in that time, you must start all over again

Your bank will most likely need to approve your payment and most banks will send you a one time OTP to the phone number registered with your bank.
