Got Your Passport?
Now check it!

Check every page and make sure it does not have any tears or pen marks, water marks, ink blurs on any page, and that the cover is not damaged (also, not bent, so don't put it in your pocket).

Indonesia is very fussy about this, if your airline lets your board they can be fined.. You will be sent straight back if you arrive in Indonesia with a damaged passport.

Check your passport Expiry Date!

You must have at least 6 months left on your passport from the date you plan to enter Indonesia.

Who requires a Visa?

ALL FOREIGNERS REQUIRE A VISA TO ENTER INDONESIA

Visa on arrival (VOA) is available either, at the airport upon arrival, or online before you come - it gives you up to 30 days in Indonesia, available for 97 countries - the cost is 500,000 IDR

Currently there is not VOA for a shorter stay, however a 7 day VOA is coming...watch this space

This is a single entry visa only.  If you leave Indonesia, even for one day, you will need to purchase another visa on arrival

Not on the VOA List?
You will need to purchase a 60 day visa before you arrive

10 ASEAN Countries do not need to pay for a visa for 30 days, however, if you want to extend or longer than you need to pay for a VOA. You can apply for your visa exemption on the official e-visa website.

PAYING FOR YOUR VISA BEFORE YOU VISIT

Make Sure you use the official Government Website

Got your Return Plane Ticket?

Make sure you have a return ticket (or through ticket) OUT of Indonesia or your airline may not let you check in to your flight to Bali!

Your ticket needs to be for departure in less 30 days from arrival date, you will need this if you get your visa online.

Your will need one if you get your visa upon arrival in Bali

If you have a visa for 60 days, some airlines can insist for a ticket out within 60 days

Customs Declaration & Bali Tourism Levy

Customs Declaration is now on-line - Bali Airport

NOTE: You cannot fill in the Customs Declaration prior to 72 hours before your flight departure. You can do it at the airport you are departing from, while waiting for your plane at the gate
