Climbing

Start the morning at 3.30am (you will have a wake up call), where you will be taken from the hotel (Segara Hotel only) to the starting point of your climb. Your guide may cook you an egg in the steam of the hotel which you are welcome to eat. Once finished you will be transported back to the hotel.

Return to Hotel

You will be back at the hotel (Hotel Segara) after the climb at approximately 9.00-9.30am where you can enjoy a well deserved breakfast. 

PRICE FOR TREKKING GUIDE

2 people: 420,000 IDR (1 guide)
3 people: 430,000 IDR (1 guide)
4 people: 440,000 IDR (1 guide)
5 people: 750,000 IDR (2 guides)
6 people: 760,000 IDR (2 guides)

ie: 1 guide takes 4 people maximum, includes transport to and from Segara Hotel in Kedisan village to the starting point. If there are only 2 trekking then you pay 420,000 but if 4 people then you pay 110,000 per person

Climbing Mt Batur

There are risks climbing Mt Batur, please ensure you have travel insurance. The Guide Association only has US$2000 insurance cover and we cannot cover you under our policy.

Hotel Segara will be the ones organising a guide from the Mt Batur Guide Association. We are unable to guide you up the mountain and you are unable to climb without a guide from the Guide Association, if you have any problems with your guide you can talk to the Manager of Segara Hotel and have him handle your dispute.
