Start the Day

We start by picking you up from your hotel around 9.30-10.00am in late model comfortable AC vehicles and head to the beauty of the Kintamani region where you will check into the hotel and enjoy an Indonesian lunch overlooking the stunning Lake Batur under the shadow of magnificent Mt Batur, a still active volcano

Top Quality Mountain Bikes

After lunch we will have the dual suspension mountain bikes ready to take you through the small gangs of rural villages. These bikes are designed for true mountain riding and after your village cycle/walk you will enjoy the fact that you have a top quality mountain bike as the roads are rough but you wont even feel the bumps.

View local traditional homes

Kedisan still has many traditionally made homes which can be viewed on this tour, from grass huts to ornate and beautifully designed family compounds. You will get off the bikes to walk and learn about the design of these homes.

Cycle past beautiful village temples and have the rare opportunity to view family temples and learn about traditional Balinese architecture and design.

Cycle on the Lake edge

Beautiful views only obtainable by a small mountain road. After touring the village you will cycle on a small back road cut in the edge of the mountain, stopping along the way for breathtaking photos. This ride goes at a steady pace and is a lot longer than a 1 day tour.

Accommodation

Returning to your accommodation, the dinner menu will be waiting for you in the restaurant. You will probably want to head off to bed early and enjoy the cool mountain air for your next day activities.

Canoe the Lake

After an early nights sleep you can start the morning with breakfast then a gentle canoe ride (kayak) out onto this bepautiful 'holy lake' and share this great experience, only with local fishermen.   This is an experience only offered by C.Bali and one not to be missed, you have nearly 2 hours on the Lake and up to 1 hour can be spent on your own (depending on skill level).

Traditional Lunch

After canoeing you will have time to shower and check out, lunch will be served before you leave the area.

On the drive back to the South we will stop at some of Bali's famous rice Terraces, this is a sight not to be missed.

You will be back in the South around 3.30pm (Ubud 2.00pm).  Drop off is included, if in one of our complimentary areas, if you wish to go to another part of Bali you will need to pay for a separate driver.

Optional Extra - climb Mt Batur

If you have lots of energy you will have time to squeeze in a climb of Mt Batur volcano, Mt Batur is still active and the climb to the top is although not that challenging requires some fitness.  You will start your climb at 3.30am and return for breakfast by 9.00am, you will need to be ready to canoe by no later than 9.30am.  If you do not want to be rushed may we suggest doing our 2 night tour to allow you plenty of time.
