Lovina is located on the far North Coast, 3 hours North of the Denpasar airport, there is a bus, however it is not recommended unless you have plenty of time, and want to experience the local way.

Get a driver and plan to stop along the way, weather permitting.

There are lots of things to see along the way: Pura Ulun Danu Temple, The Botanical Gardens , strawberry fields. Water falls, natural pools - these are all if the weather permits, as the drive is through the Bedugal Ranges and that area can have extreme weather in the wet season. Check weather guide above.

Don't forget you need to pay your driver for his return trip, unless you are only staying one night and want your driver to stay as well, then you will need to pay for some cheap accommodation for him, some hotels give very good discount for rooms for drivers (or get a driver from the area who can visit is family).
